Three different varieties of Sunflowers will be planted along the north side of the garden. Roasted Sunflower Seeds
Lightly coat harvested seeds with cooking oil and a small amount of salt.
Lay flat in a baking pan and place in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Use a spatula to 'toss' and flip over the sunflower seeds.
Return the pan to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Allow seeds to cool, and grind sea salt on the batch. Discard the outer shell when eating.
